Full job description

We are a client focused Property Managing Agent and deal with the management of the communal areas of apartment blocks and housing estates. We do not however deal with lettings. Each development that we manage, we do so as per the terms of their lease and cover everything from financial planning and collection of service charges, to the maintenance of the buildings and grounds considering all aspects of health and safety. We provide an extensive service to our clients and expect the successful applicant to provide a professional and courteous service in what can often prove a challenging environment.

20-24 hours per week over 5 or 4 days.

Customer Service (incl. response to emails, calls, face to face enquiries)

Dealing with a variety of general enquiries that arise at the developments we manage

Circulation of minutes of meetings

Arranging various inspections required at the developments we manage

Liaising with Directors and Residents to update them on reports received and any works required as an outcome of said reports

Saving of reports and various documents

Diary management

Communicating with Directors and Residents in a variety of ways in relation to upcoming inspections etc

Logging of issues and dealing with a variety of issues as and when they arise.

Assisting the Director and Office Manager in various Administrative duties

The successful applicant will need to:

Have a basic understanding of the Microsoft Office package

Have a professional phone manner and patient tone (due to a variety of personalities exhibited by our many clients)

Use their initiative to find answers, without compromising professionalism

Work well under pressure to meet targets and the general expectations

Must have an enthusiasm and willingness to learn

Must be able to communicate confidently with colleagues, management, and clients alike

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Blackpool FY1 6PE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
