Bar Staff (Full-Time) - MUST BE BARISTA TRAINED

Working five shifts per week and must be flexible, shift patterns varies from 9am - 5.30pm and 10.30am - 6pm, with the option for overtime.

Are you a skilled mixologist with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences? The Grand Hotel is seeking a dedicated and professional Full-Time Bar Staff member to join our dynamic team.

This role is central to our hotel’s atmosphere. You will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of service, crafting premium drinks, and ensuring every guest enjoys an unforgettable experience in our iconic Torquay setting.

Key Responsibilities

Expert Mixology: Prepare and serve a diverse range of drinks, with a heavy focus on high-quality cocktail making.
Customer Excellence: Deliver consistently fantastic customer service, engaging with guests to ensure a welcoming and professional environment.
Operational Standards: Maintain the bar area to a high standard of cleanliness and organisation at all times.
Service Delivery: Manage daily beverage service and support hotel functions or events as required.
Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure a fluid guest journey.

Candidate Requirements

Experience: Proven cocktail making experience is essential for this role.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Attitude: A positive, proactive 'can-do' approach and a commitment to professional hospitality.
Reliability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.

Important Considerations

Availability: This position is full-time and requires regular evening and weekend shifts, including peak seasonal holidays, to meet the needs of our guests.
