Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional cocktail Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and delivering excellent customer service. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring all health and safety standards are met. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar environment is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using the till system
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glasses, shakers, and work surfaces
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and uphold safety standards
Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety policies at all times
Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment, enhancing their overall experience

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving roles is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
Good understanding of basic maths for handling transactions accurately
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
A responsible attitude towards alcohol service and customer safety
A willing to learn and adapt within a team environment
