Job overview

We are looking for a confident, organised and friendly Business Setup Advisor to support people who have booked a free business setup call with us.

This is primarily an inbound, pre-booked telephone role. It is not an aggressive sales or cold-calling position. You will guide customers through the initial stages of setting up their business, helping them understand what they need to do and making the process as clear and straightforward as possible.

The role mainly involves helping customers set up a limited company, apply for an appropriate business bank account, complete the required setup steps and resolve basic questions or difficulties along the way.

Key responsibilities

Take scheduled telephone calls with people who have booked a free business setup call
Guide customers through setting up a limited company
Help customers apply for an appropriate business bank account
Explain the required setup steps clearly and make sure each person knows what to do next
Communicate professionally with customers through WhatsApp
Follow up with people who have not completed their next steps
Answer basic customer questions and help resolve straightforward difficulties
Book or confirm follow-up calls where required
Keep clear and accurate notes on each person's progress
Update the company's lead-management spreadsheet or system
Help customers progress through the setup journey without unnecessary delays
Escalate unusual or complex issues to the appropriate team member

What the role involves day to day

Your day will consist of scheduled telephone calls, WhatsApp conversations, follow-ups and administrative updates. You will work through a structured process for each customer, record their progress accurately and make sure they understand their next step.

Some people will complete the process quickly, while others may need reminders or additional guidance. You will need to follow up consistently and professionally without being rude or overly pushy.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will be:

Confident and friendly on the telephone
Comfortable speaking with different types of people
Professional when communicating through WhatsApp
Organised, reliable and able to manage follow-ups
Comfortable following structured scripts and processes
Capable of keeping clear and accurate notes
Persistent with follow-ups without being overly pushy
Comfortable using computers, spreadsheets and online systems
Able to commute reliably to the CV11 area for every shift
Available to work the full Monday-to-Friday schedule of 12:00pm to 8:00pm

Previous experience in customer service, telephone work, administration, appointment setting or sales support would be useful, but it is not essential. Previous experience in company formation or business banking is not required.

Training and support

Full training will be provided. You will receive the scripts, processes and practical guidance needed to carry out the role, together with ongoing support when questions or more complex situations arise.

£12.71 per hour
40 hours per week
Full-time
Monday to Friday
12:00pm to 8:00pm

Location

This is a fully on-site position in the CV11 area of Nuneaton, Warwickshire. It is not a remote or hybrid role. Applicants must be able to commute reliably to the workplace for every shift.
