Accounts and Admin Assistant – Office Based (The Blade, Reading, RG1)

Part Time - 10-20 hours a week

Founded in 2017, Saxon Insurance Brokers is on track to become the largest independent private client broker in the UK. We handle insurance for high-value assets — from yachts and fine art to supercars and super homes — and we’re growing fast.

Our team is small, ambitious, and full of energy. You’ll be joining at an exciting time as we scale up and bring smarter tools into the business to support that growth.

What you’ll do

Help identify and implement ways AI or automation can make the finance process faster and smarter
Reconcile payments and handle bookkeeping
Process insurer statements and aged debt reports
Liaise with third-party providers and suppliers
Work closely with the leadership team to refine systems and improve efficiency
Help manage day-to-day operations
Keeping records up-to-date

What we’re looking for

Previous experience in finance roles/account roles is preferred
AAT or Business Administration qualification (preferred)
Problem solver with strong communication skills
Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
Independent, proactive, and curious about how things work
Positive, can-do attitude with an entrepreneurial streak
