The Alpine Apartments are a busy establishment located in the heart of Betws-y-Coed, featuring 5 self catering apartments and 3 bed and breakfast rooms. We pride ourself on a welcoming environment with eclectic decor that can cater for a wide range of visitors. We are committed to sustainability and conservation, with palm oil free and naturally sourced products.

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment for both customers and staff. Your dedication will ensure that our apartments and rooms remain a hygienic and pleasant space, supporting our mission to provide excellent service in a spotless setting. Our apartments are busy, so hours for cleaning will depend on bookings, which will be delivered to you as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of all areas within the apartments, including dining spaces, kitchen, bathrooms, and entryways
Use eco-friendly cleaning equipment and supplies effectively to ensure high standards.
Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures throughout the day
Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly
Follow health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations
Assist with waste disposal and recycling processes to promote sustainability efforts
Monitor bookings and work with other staff members to ensure that all apartments are cleaned and ready for visitors.
Ironing and laundry

Qualifications

Experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles preferred
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout shifts - all apartments and rooms are up stairs.
