Hours: 40 per week (full-time)
Salary: £40,000 – £44,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Are you an experienced leader looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of older people? The Old Rectory is seeking a passionate and dynamic Registered Manager to lead our dedicated team and ensure the highest quality of care for our elderly and dementia residents.
About the Role:
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the care home, ensuring compliance with CQC standards, delivering person-centred care, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff. You will lead by example, inspire your team, and work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve excellent outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong, visible leadership and management to staff, promoting a culture of quality, compassion, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the daily running of the home, including care delivery, staffing, budgets, and compliance.
- Ensure all regulatory and legislative requirements are met (CQC, safeguarding, health & safety, etc.).
- Develop and implement care plans that respond to residents’ individual needs and preferences.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external professionals.
- Lead on recruitment, retention, and staff development, including supervision and appraisal.
- Manage complaints, concerns, and incidents in line with best practice and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or willingness to work towards this qualification.
- Significant experience in a management or senior care role within a residential or dementia care setting.
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- A strong understanding of CQC standards, care planning, and safeguarding.
