Job Introduction

The Role

This post plays a key role in the successful delivery of Council Services. In particular, the post holder will provide efficient and effective computer based administration to ensure that high quality services are provided to both members of the public and businesses in accordance with Government Legislation.
As an Admin Support Officer, you will support the Regulatory Service by processing applications and service requests, maintaining accurate records and databases, preparing correspondence, and providing advice and support to customers by telephone and email. You will help ensure services are delivered efficiently, accurately and in line with Council procedures.

The Experience you will bring
We're looking for an organised and customer-focused administrator with strong communication and IT skills.You will have:

Experience in an administrative or customer service environment.
Good Microsoft Office skills and confidence using computer systems.
The ability to work accurately, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A professional approach and excellent attention to detail.
