Full job description

Job Overview:

The Site Solutions Coordinator – Sales Advisor acts as the first point of contact for all site-based sales enquiries, driving revenue through fast, accurate, and commercially focused interactions. This role centres on converting enquiries into orders, maximising value through effective product selection, upselling, and proactive relationship building.

With strong product knowledge and a sales-led mindset, you will help grow customer spend and strengthen our reputation for delivering the right solution first time.

Based in our Central Support Office in Newcastle (Newcastle Business Park).

Responsibilities:

Ensuring all enquiries are responded to in a timely manner via telephone and email
Liaising closely with the depot network and other departments to ensure delivery of service/product
Offering customers an efficient, knowledgeable and courteous service
Meeting the customers requirements from point of order to delivery of product
Raising quotes and processing hire and sales orders
Following up on customer orders, to ensure successful delivery and obtain any feedback regarding equipment and service.
Ensuring product knowledge is maintained at an adequate level
Liaise with sales team to maximise sales opportunity across the depot network.
Manage all day-to-day hire requests across customer types and sectors with a focus on maximising order capture.
Use availability dashboards and internal systems to ensure product availability and seamless order flow.
Collaborate closely with the Project Solutions Team, Depot Teams, Transport, and Service Solutions to ensure every order is delivered correctly and on time.
Ensure all instructions, delivery details, specifications, and pricing are accurately recorded to prevent queries.

Experience:

Previous experience in a sales-focused role not essential but would be a great advantage (hire, construction, or service industries advantageous).
Strong commercial awareness and a proactive, target-driven mindset.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Organised, accurate, and able to manage high volumes of enquiries confidently.
Comfortable using CRM and order-processing systems.
Resilient, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
