Full job description

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Food & Beverage (F&B) Assistant to join our team. This is a varied role that includes both bar work and waiting/service duties, ensuring our guests receive excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Serving food and drinks to customers in a professional and friendly manner.
Taking food and beverage orders accurately.
Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Operating the bar and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Clearing and resetting tables promptly.
Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues courteously.
Processing payments using the till/POS system.
Assisting with opening and closing duties.
Maintaining food hygiene, health and safety, and licensing regulations at all times.
Working as part of a team to deliver exceptional customer service.

Essential Requirements

Must be aged 18 or over due to the sale and service of alcohol.
Must be available to work evenings and late shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well under pressure.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Desirable Experience

Previous experience in a food and beverage, hospitality, bar, or restaurant environment is desirable but not essential.
Experience in both bar service and waiting/service is an advantage.
Knowledge of food hygiene and responsible alcohol service is beneficial.
