About the Role:
At Wagentristl Industrial Solutions Ltd, we combine practical industry expertise with modern technology to help organizations improve commercial performance and operational efficiency. Our teams work across sales, customer success, finance, and operations to create streamlined processes and reliable business systems. We are looking for a Sales Operations Analyst who can turn commercial data into clear insights and help our sales organization operate more effectively. You will work closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams, supporting forecasting, reporting, pipeline management, and process improvement. You will be an important link between business strategy, sales execution, and data driven decision making.
Why Work With Us?
The Environment: Our Liverpool office provides a professional and collaborative setting where commercial, technology, and operations teams work closely together. We value clear communication, practical problem solving, and a culture where analytical thinking is encouraged.
Business Impact: Your analysis will directly support sales planning, pipeline visibility, territory performance, and revenue operations. You will have the opportunity to influence processes rather than simply produce reports.
Modern Systems: We use modern CRM, business intelligence, spreadsheet, and reporting platforms to manage commercial information. You will work with structured datasets and help improve the quality and usability of sales information across the organization.
Growth: We support professional development through training, industry resources, and opportunities to expand your knowledge of sales operations, analytics, CRM systems, and commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Reporting: Develop and maintain recurring sales reports, dashboards, and performance summaries covering pipeline activity, conversion rates, revenue performance, and sales productivity.
Data Analysis: Analyze sales and customer data to identify trends, opportunities, performance gaps, and areas where operational improvements could increase efficiency.
Pipeline Management: Monitor pipeline quality, stage progression, activity levels, and forecasting inputs. Work with sales teams to improve data accuracy and visibility.
Forecasting Support: Assist with sales forecasting by consolidating performance data, identifying trends, and highlighting risks or changes that may affect expected results.
Process Improvement: Review existing sales processes and recommend practical improvements that reduce administrative work, improve data quality, and support more consistent sales execution.
CRM Management: Help maintain accurate customer and opportunity information within the CRM. Identify data issues and work with relevant teams to improve system adoption and reporting accuracy.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with sales, marketing, finance, customer success, and operations teams to provide analysis and support commercial planning.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: 3+ years of experience in sales operations, commercial analytics, business analysis, revenue operations, or a related analytical role.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret sales data, identify meaningful trends, and translate findings into practical recommendations.
Reporting: Experience creating sales reports, dashboards, performance analysis, and forecasting materials for business stakeholders.
Systems: Comfortable working with CRM platforms, Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet tools, and business intelligence or reporting systems.
Communication: You can clearly explain analytical findings to sales teams and business stakeholders without unnecessary technical language.
Problem Solving: You are naturally curious, detail oriented, and comfortable investigating inconsistencies in data and processes.
Mindset: You are commercially aware and pragmatic. You understand that good sales operations is not simply about producing reports; it is about helping teams make better decisions and operate more efficiently.
Pay: £34,188.00-£36,000.00 per year
