Technology Support Engineer – Brio Leisure
Base Location: Head Office, Brio Northgate
Hours of work: 37 Hours Per Week
Contract: Permanent - Full Time
Salary: Grade 6 - £28,598 Per Annum

About the Role
Brio Leisure is seeking to appoint a Technology Support Engineer to join the Technology team, based at Head Office, Brio Northgate.
The successful candidate will provide 1st and 2nd line technical support across Brio Leisure’s seven sites within the Cheshire West and Chester borough. This hybrid role will include both remote support and on-site support, working across a range of systems and services including Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Windows devices, networking, telephony, business applications, collaboration tools and the Gladstone leisure management system.
The postholder will assist with day-to-day technical support, user account administration, device management, cyber security activity, digital transformation, service improvements and technology projects. Regular travel between sites will be required.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to colleagues across Brio Leisure, including remote and on-site support, ensuring incidents and service requests are managed effectively.
Travel between Brio Leisure sites within the Cheshire West and Chester borough to provide on-site technical support where required.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to Microsoft 365, Windows devices, networking, telephony, meeting room technology, business systems and the Gladstone leisure management system.
Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Microsoft Entra ID.
Create and maintain user accounts, licences, permissions, mailboxes, security groups and access requests.
Support the deployment and maintenance of desktops, laptops, mobile devices and associated equipment, including use of Microsoft Intune.
Assist with cyber security activities, including patching, endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation and policy compliance.
Support technology projects, system upgrades, service improvements and hardware refreshes.
Support the organisation’s digital transformation by assisting with the implementation, adoption and improvement of technology services.
Maintain technical documentation, user guidance and knowledge base information.
Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge
Essential Criteria
Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900), working towards MS-900, or equivalent practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
Good understanding of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory and device management within a Microsoft-based environment.
Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to support colleagues, stakeholders and users at all levels with varying levels of technical knowledge.
Desirable Criteria
Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102).
Microsoft Teams Administrator Associate (MS-700).
ITIL Foundation.
Experience
Essential Experience
Experience providing 1st and 2nd line IT support within a Microsoft-based environment.
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive and Entra ID.
Experience creating and managing user accounts, permissions, licences, mailboxes and group memberships.
Experience supporting Windows devices, software installation, basic networking and connectivity issues.
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, prioritise work and communicate clearly with colleagues and suppliers.
Ability to support users across multiple sites or departments.
Desirable Experience
Experience with Microsoft Intune, cyber security activity, technical documentation or technology projects would be advantageous.
Experience supporting business systems or leisure management software, such as Gladstone, would be advantageous.
