Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at Â£15.59 per hour, rising to Â£16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeksâ€™ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what weâ€™re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

You will be responsible for

Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.Â

Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries.

Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best.

Confidently leading the store in the Managerâ€™s absence.

Â Â Â Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting well to change.

Â Â Â Coaching colleagues, giving feedback and role modelling great service.Â

Staying curious and seeking opportunities to serve our customers, communities, and planet a little better every day.Â

You will need

To be over 18 for this role.

Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment. Â

Be a strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customerâ€™s needs are met.

Build positive, longâ€‘lasting relationships to create an inclusive, supportive team environment.

A clear communicator, using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed. Â

A natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results.
