About Quantum Facades

Quantum Facades Ltd is a specialist façade contractor delivering high-quality façade solutions across a range of construction projects throughout the UK.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an organised and proactive Procurement Assistant to join our team at our office in Wrexham.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and organisational skills who would like to develop their career within procurement and the construction industry.

The Role

Working closely with our Procurement team, the Procurement Assistant will provide day-to-day administrative and purchasing support, helping to ensure materials, products and services are sourced and ordered efficiently and in line with project requirements.

The successful candidate will be confident communicating with suppliers and colleagues, comfortable managing multiple priorities and have excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the day-to-day procurement of materials, products and services for construction projects.
Raise and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers.
Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, lead times and deliveries.
Monitor outstanding orders and follow up with suppliers where required.
Help ensure materials are ordered in line with project programmes and required delivery dates.
Maintain accurate procurement records, order information and supplier details.
Assist with resolving delivery, invoice and order queries.
Communicate with Project Managers, Site Teams and other departments regarding procurement requirements.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers.
Assist with sourcing new suppliers and obtaining relevant information and documentation.
Support the Procurement team with general administration and reporting.
Carry out other reasonable duties to support the wider business when required.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Confident communicating by telephone and email.
Able to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks.
Proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks.
Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
A good team player with a professional and positive approach.
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
Numerate and comfortable working with prices, quotations and order information.

Previous experience within procurement, purchasing, construction or administration would be advantageous; however, training can be provided for the right candidate.
