Area Sales Manager TPS & RGB PHS (7 Depots)

About Total Plumbing Supplies

Founded in 2001, Total Plumbing Supplies is built on outstanding customer service and product availability. As part of the Independent Builders Merchants Group (IBMG), we support plumbing and heating professionals with trusted advice, quality products, and industry expertise.

The Role

Were looking for a driven Area Sales Manager to deliver profitable growth across 7 plumbing and heating depots.

You will:

Grow existing customer accounts
Win new business
Support depot teams to achieve sales and margin targets
Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers

Youll also manage your own customer ledger and play a key role in driving revenue, protecting margin, and increasing market share across your area.

What Youll Be Doing

Sales & Business Development

Deliver sales and margin targets across the area
Build, develop, and manage key plumbing and heating customer accounts
Identify and secure new business opportunities
Cross-sell products and services
Monitor competitor activity and local market trends

Depot Collaboration

Work closely with Depot and Area Managers
Share pipeline activity and market insights
Support depots in converting sales opportunities

Supplier Engagement

Conduct joint supplier and customer visits
Promote new plumbing and heating products and initiatives
Maintain strong product and market knowledge

Planning & Performance

Maintain structured call plans
Manage and update the sales pipeline
Track and report on key performance metrics

Credit Management

Ensure customers operate within agreed credit terms
Work closely with Credit Control on accounts
Resolve queries to minimise financial risk

What Were Looking For

Experience

Proven track record of delivering sales growth
Field-based sales or account management experience
Strong commercial awareness (pricing and margin)
Experience winning new business
Industry experience in plumbing and heating supplies (preferred)
