Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Pan-Asian Head Chef to join us on our brand new store opening in Hall Green. This role is perfect for a motivated culinary professional eager to showcase their leadership skills, oversee food production, and craft exceptional dishes that delight our guests. As the Head Chef, you will be the driving force behind kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and hospitality are consistently met.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met
Manage food production schedules, inventory, and ordering to maintain optimal stock levels
Implement and uphold strict food safety and sanitation protocols in compliance with health regulations
Develop innovative menus that reflect current trends while catering to guest preferences
Train team members on culinary techniques, food safety practices, and service standards
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen or restaurant setting
Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
Solid understanding of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and hospitality principles
Excellent communication skills for effective team management and guest interactions
Strong organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
Passion for innovation in food production and delivering exceptional dining experiences
Experience in Pan-Asian/ Japanese cuisine.

Pay: £45,000.00 per year
