About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Architect to help shape scalable, secure and reliable data solutions across the organisation.

You will work with technology and business teams to define data architecture, improve data platforms and turn complex requirements into practical solutions. This is an opportunity to influence data strategy while contributing to modernisation and long-term technical development.

Key Responsibilities

Design scalable enterprise data architectures and solutions.
Define data models, standards and architectural principles.
Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs.
Develop strategies for data integration, storage and governance.
Review existing platforms and identify opportunities for improvement.
Support cloud and modern data platform initiatives.
Ensure solutions meet security, performance and scalability requirements.
Produce architecture documentation and technical specifications.
Collaborate with engineering, analytics and infrastructure teams.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to data professionals.

We're Looking For Someone Who Is

Experienced in data architecture and enterprise data environments.
Strong in data modelling, integration and database technologies.
Comfortable working with cloud data platforms.

Comfortable influencing technical decisions.

Requirements

Proven experience in data architecture, data engineering or a related senior role.
Strong understanding of data modelling and database technologies.
Experience with SQL and data integration principles.
Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern data architectures.
Understanding of data governance, security and quality.
Experience producing technical architecture documentation.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Relevant degree or professional experience in technology, data or computer science.

Experience

Previous experience in relevant data architecture, data engineering, database architecture, enterprise data, cloud data platforms, business intelligence, or related senior roles is required for this position.
