Store Manager at Caffè Nero

At Caffè Nero, it’s our people that make us different. That’s why we are looking for warm, positive people who love working with others to come and join us as Store Managers.

Our aim is simple: through great coffee and brilliant service, we want to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Our Store Managers take ownership of their own store, providing excellent customer service and operational standards. They:

Pride themselves on keeping customers happy through fantastic service, both in store and through deliveries. With our signature 1-2-1 service style, they ensure customers leave with a personalised experience.
Grow and develop their teams by training, coaching and leading them by example.
Make fantastic coffee… and matcha… and seasonal drinks… every order is special! From bean to cup, they make each customer their coffee, exactly how they like it!
Keep the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.

Performance related bonus of between £3,500 - £5,500 per annum (dependant on role and store).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Application question(s):

Our stores open early and some stay open late. If you are working an opening shift you would need to be at work approximately 45 minutes before the store opens. If you are working a closing shift you will be in store up to 30 minutes after it closes and it is very important that you have checked that you are able to travel to the store you are applying to. Can you confirm that you have looked into your commute and you can travel to the location to which you’ve applied in order to fulfil the range of possible shifts? (Y/N)
Our stores are typically open 7 days a week, with some opening early and some closing late. Please tell us your availability to work during a typical week. If you are selected for interview we will discuss this with you in more detail.
How would you travel to the store if you were successful, and how long would this take you?

Keeping the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service is an essential part of everyone’s job. If you join us you will share this responsibility with the team, and some examples would be clearing and cleaning tables or ensuring the toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect. Are you comfortable completing these (and other) cleaning tasks as part of your daily routine in-store? (Y/N)
