Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Advisor

This role is 2 days per week, salary £45,000 pro-rated.

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Advisor to join our Compliance team based in Bathgate. Reporting to the Technical & Innovation Director, you will play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation, and driving continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert HSE advice and guidance to managers and colleagues.
Conduct workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments.
Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses, identifying corrective actions.
Support environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives.
Develop and promote safe working practices across the business.

What You Will Bring

Previous experience in a Health, Safety & Environment role, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing
NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and best practice
Excellent communication, influencing and organisational skills
IOSH membership or working towards membership is desirable.
