Job summary

Havant and Petersfield CAMHS has an exciting opportunity for a 12-month secondment for a BABCP-accredited CBT therapist.

This would be a full-time role within the Havant and Petersfield community CAMHS team, focused on delivering high-quality, specialist CBT interventions to children and young people with significant mental health difficulties (including anxiety, depression, OCD and PTSD).

The role would also involve contributing to the wider core CAMHS team by completing initial assessments, supporting duty and engaging with the formulation, clinical and team meetings.

At present, the Trust is unable to offer Skilled Worker visa sponsorship for this post. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application.

Main duties, tasks & skills required

We are looking for a confident professional with a demonstrable track record of providing high-quality, evidence-based CBT interventions to children and young people. We would welcome applications from BABCP-accredited CBT therapists who share our passion for delivering the best quality care experience for children and their families. This role will be closely supported by the other CBT Therapists in the team and the Senior Clinical Psychologist.

Havant and Petersfield CAMHS is a strong and supportive team and has excellent structures to offer regular supervision and reflective practice. We would be committed to offering a comprehensive induction plan and support package to ensure you felt welcomed and settled into the team. This is a great opportunity to join our supportive multi-disciplinary team and to be part of delivering high-quality children's mental health services.
