Full job description

Location: Rainham, East London
Hours: Monday to Friday, with Saturday work and overtime available

TCS Screeding Ltd is looking for an experienced and reliable Class 2 Grab Lorry Driver/Operator to join our team.

The role will be based from our yard in Rainham, East London, delivering and collecting materials from construction sites and quarries across London and the South East. You will also be responsible for loading materials into our fleet of volumetric trucks and completing deliveries to construction sites.

Main Responsibilities

Driving and operating a grab lorry safely and efficiently
Delivering and collecting materials from sites and quarries
Loading materials into volumetric trucks
Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
Keeping the vehicle clean and well maintained
Completing delivery paperwork accurately
Following site rules and health and safety procedures
Providing a professional service when dealing with customers and site teams

Requirements

Valid Class 2 / Category C driving licence
Valid Driver CPC
Digital tachograph card
Good driving record
Experience operating a grab lorry is preferred
ALLMI or NPORS loader/crane qualification is preferred
Good knowledge of London and the South East would be beneficial
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently

Full training on the operation of the vehicle can be provided to the right candidate where required.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday as standard
Saturday work and overtime available
Yard parking available
