Job Title

Warehouse Assistant

Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable, organised and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day warehouse operation, including receiving stock, picking and packing customer orders, preparing shipping labels, and ensuring orders are dispatched accurately and on time.

The role requires good attention to detail, a positive attitude and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

* Receive, check and organise incoming stock.

* Pick products accurately according to customer orders.

* Pack orders securely and appropriately for delivery.

* Print and attach shipping labels correctly.

* Check customer addresses, order details and shipping information before dispatch.

* Ensure the correct product is packed with the correct order.

* Take photographs of completed packages when required.

* Update order and warehouse systems accurately.

* Sort completed orders according to courier and delivery service.

* Prepare parcels for Royal Mail and other courier collections.

* Load and unload deliveries safely.

* Keep the warehouse clean, organised and tidy.

* Maintain accurate stock levels and report discrepancies.

* Identify damaged or faulty products and report them to management.

* Follow company packing, health and safety and dispatch procedures.

* Assist with stock counts and warehouse audits.

* Support other warehouse duties as required.

Skills & Requirements

* Previous warehouse, packing or fulfilment experience is preferred but not essential.

* Good attention to detail.

* Ability to work quickly while maintaining accuracy.

* Basic computer skills and willingness to learn warehouse systems.

* Ability to follow instructions and company procedures.

* Good organisational and time-management skills.

* Physically able to lift and move packages safely.

* Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

* Good communication and teamwork skills.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Environment

This is a hands-on warehouse role involving regular movement, picking, packing and preparing parcels for dispatch. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain high standards of accuracy and presentation throughout the fulfilment process.

* Orders picked and packed accurately.

* Correct shipping labels applied to the correct parcels.

* Orders dispatched within required deadlines.

* Warehouse kept clean and organised.

* Stock handled carefully and accurately.

* Any issues or discrepancies reported promptly.
