Vacancy: Hygiene Operative including Weekend Laundry
Location: Runcorn, WA7 3FA
Rate of pay per fortnight: £13.13 (71hrs) £19.70 (11 hrs)
Shifts:
Week 1: Wed - Fri 14:00 - 22:00 Sat & Sun 14:00 – 22:00
Week 2: Wed - Fri 10:00 - 22:00
Sat & Sun 10:00 – 22:00
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Hygiene Operative who will work at our client’s prestigious site.
Duties as a Hygiene Operative:
- Maintain the hygiene standards which are required within the client site.
- Complete all necessary training as required and instructed by your supervisor.
- Complete ADR controlled documents to evidence completion of work.
- Conduct all tasks with due regard to the contract specification and all legislation including Health and Safety, and personal hygiene.
- Ensure correct materials, equipment and methods are used at all times and equipment is kept clean and in good working order.
- Carry out all cleaning tasks as detailed by the cleaning work schedule, to agreed standard, as directed by the Hygiene Supervisor /Hygiene Site Manager.
- Carry out any reasonable work instruction to the standard required.
- Dust control/vacuum and mop floors.
- Buff/Polish floors (using appropriate solution) per specification.
- Empty and reline waste bins.
- Dispose of rubbish.
- Wash walls/ledges/desks/doors/glass/fixtures/fittings and chairs as per specification.
- Clean and maintain washrooms and toilets.
- Collect used garments and replenish storage areas with clean laundry.
Job role requirements as a Hygiene Operative:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in Similar role preferred.
- Organisational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable working alone and in a team.
- Ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload.
