Overview
Strathmore Foods Ltd is seeking an organised and detail-focused Technical Administrator to support our Technical Department within our busy food manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills who can accurately manage technical documentation, maintain records and support the company’s food safety, quality and compliance systems. You will work closely with the Head of Technical, the wider Technical Team, production departments, suppliers and colleagues across the business
Key Responsibilities
· Maintain accurate technical, food safety and quality records.
· Support the control, review, issue and archiving of policies, procedures, work instructions and forms.
· Update technical databases, spreadsheets, trackers and document registers.
· Assist with preparing information for customer, regulatory and certification audits.
· Record and monitor non-conformances, complaints, corrective actions and investigation outcomes.
· Support product specification, supplier approval and raw material documentation processes.
· Support checking that supplier certificates, declarations and supporting documents remain current.
· Collate and file traceability, production, hygiene and quality-control records.
· Assist with internal audit schedules, meeting minutes and follow-up actions.
· Support customer questionnaires and technical information requests.
· Monitor review dates and follow up with managers where documents or actions are overdue.
· Maintain confidentiality when handling company, customer, supplier and employee information.
· Provide general administrative support to the Technical Department as required.
· Support Quality Team with audits / spot checks and positive release when required
About You
The successful candidate should have:
· Previous administrative experience, preferably within food manufacturing, quality, technical or compliance.
· Excellent attention to detail and a consistently high level of accuracy.
· Strong organisational and time-management skills.
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
· Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and electronic filing systems.
· The ability to manage several priorities and meet deadlines.
· A professional, discreet and confidential approach.
· The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable experience: BRCGS, HACCP, food safety, product specifications, supplier approval or technical document control. Appropriate training can be provided.

Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
