Location: Peterborough
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (requirement to be flexible due to business needs)

Salary: Circa £36,000 per annum depending on experience.

About the Role

We're looking for an Inventory Control Supervisor to join our Customer Support team at our automated Peterborough facility.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced warehouse or inventory professional ready to lead a team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

You'll play a key role in ensuring inventory accuracy, supporting daily operations, driving team performance, and delivering excellent service to our customers.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading, coaching and developing a team of around 10 Inventory Control colleagues.
Managing daily workloads, attendance and team performance.
Supporting recruitment, onboarding and colleague development.
Driving inventory accuracy through stock investigations and process compliance.
Acting as the first point of escalation for customer enquiries and operational issues.
Managing the shared customer inbox and ensuring timely communication.
Building strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Helping manage site administration, including purchase orders and PPE.

What We're Looking For

Experience in inventory control, warehousing or logistics.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Flexibility to occasionally work across both AM and PM shifts.
Knowledge of shipping or transport operations is desirable but not essential.
