Do you have Team Leader or Manager experience in Outbound Telesales and Account Management? We're looking for an ambitious and commercially focused Business Development Team Leader to lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team, driving sustainable growth through new customer acquisition, cross-selling and exceptional customer experiences. If you have experience of managing Outbound Telesales teams and account management, we would love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading, motivating and developing a team of sales advisors to exceed sales and KPI targets.
- Driving new business generation, pipeline management and conversion performance.
- Coaching and mentoring team members through regular training, call coaching and performance reviews.
- Creating a positive, high-energy sales culture that encourages success and continuous improvement.
- Identifying opportunities to increase revenue through upselling, cross-selling and new sales initiatives.
- Monitoring performance metrics and presenting regular sales results and insights.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development of team members.
- Managing day-to-day people responsibilities including attendance, performance and engagement.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 4 years' telesales leadership experience within a target-driven environment.
- Proven track record of delivering and exceeding sales, revenue and margin targets.
- Strong coaching and sales training experience with the ability to inspire high performance.
- Experience managing outbound sales activity, account management and contact strategies.
- Commercially minded with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Outstanding communication, leadership and motivational skills.
- Highly organised with strong time management and analytical abilities.
- Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- The role is based on-site in Skelmersdale with hybrid options after a probationary period.
