Marketing & Social Media Assistant - TINIT

Part-time | Flexible hours | Wells, Somerset

TINIT is a fast-growing gift and homeware brand based in Wells, Somerset. We design and sell a range of stylish, functional tins and gifts, selling directly to customers online as well as through independent retailers and larger stores across the UK.

As the business continues to grow, we’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic person to take the lead on our social media and help develop the TINIT brand.

The role

This will be a varied, hands-on role with plenty of freedom to bring your own ideas. Responsibilities could include:

Planning, creating and posting content across Instagram, TikTok and other social channels
Creating Reels, short-form videos, Stories and engaging posts
Photographing and filming products and behind-the-scenes content
Coming up with creative content ideas that fit the TINIT brand
Growing our social media presence and engagement
Helping plan product launches and seasonal campaigns
Working with influencers, creators and retailers on collaborative content
Creating and sending email marketing campaigns
Updating website content and helping keep the brand consistent across different platforms
Looking at what content performs well and using this to improve future marketing

Who we’re looking for

You don’t necessarily need years of marketing experience or formal qualifications. We’re much more interested in finding someone who is creative, proactive and understands what makes good social media content.

You might be a good fit if you:

Have a strong eye for design, photography and content
Understand Instagram and TikTok and keep up with current trends
Can create engaging Reels and short-form video
Are comfortable using tools such as Canva, CapCut or similar
Have good written English and attention to detail
Are confident working independently and bringing your own ideas
Have an interest in interiors, gifting, retail, design or lifestyle brands

Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo/email marketing, Meta Ads or Adobe software would be useful, but isn’t essential.

About TINIT

TINIT started as a small idea and has grown quickly into a brand selling tens of thousands of products each year through our own website, Amazon, Etsy, Not On The High Street and retailers around the UK.

We’re still a small business, so this isn’t a corporate marketing role. You’ll be working directly with the founder and will have the opportunity to make a genuine impact on how the brand looks, sounds and grows.

The role can develop around the right person, and there is plenty of scope to take on more responsibility as TINIT continues to expand.

Hours: Part-time, initially approximately 8–16 hours per week, with flexibility around when these are worked.

Location: Wells, Somerset. Some work can be done remotely, but you’ll need to be local enough to regularly create content with the products and work together in person.

Pay: Competitive, depending on experience.
