Job Summary

All Reformer is a new kind of reformer Pilates studio in Milton Keynes. Eight beds, each with its own screen and on-screen instructor, open 7 days a week from 6am to 10pm. No timetable, no packed classes, no £25 a session price tag.

We are looking for a Studio and Membership Manager to take over the day to day running of the studio from one of our founders. You will be the only person on site for most of your shifts, so this is a hands-on role with real ownership: you host every trial session and sell the memberships, you look after the members and keep them coming back, and you keep the studio running. If you want to build something rather than clock in and out of a class timetable, this is that job.

Responsibilities

Host Try It sessions from start to finish: welcome the visitor, set them up on a reformer bed, guide them through their first workout and present our membership offer with the aim of them joining on the day
Follow up with everyone who does not join on the day and convert them over the following two weeks using our set process
Own the studio's growth numbers: bookings, attendance, conversions and cancellations, reported weekly with your recommendations
Look after our members: answer messages and emails, help newcomers get confident with the screens and the self-directed format, and resolve problems before they become cancellations
Run retention: spot members who have stopped attending, reach out personally and bring them back
Build local partnerships with employers, gyms, physiotherapists, salons and community groups to bring in new members
Support our advertising with on-the-ground content such as short videos and member stories, and encourage reviews and referrals
Run the studio day to day: opening and closing, cleanliness, equipment and screen checks, bookings, waivers and app access

Requirements

A Level 2 fitness qualification and a genuine interest in Pilates, especially the Reformer, is preferred but not required. A Pilates qualification in Mat or Reformer is a bonus rather than an essential. What matters is that you are confident and credible on the bed, and willing to be trained by us
Proven face to face sales experience selling memberships, services or packages. You are comfortable presenting a price and asking for the sale, and you can tell us what you achieved
Warm and unflappable with people, especially first timers who are nervous or unsure
Self-managing and organised. You will usually be on your own on site, so you need to run your own day and follow the process without being chased
Confident with everyday software: booking systems, messaging platforms and spreadsheets. Experience with Mindbody is an advantage
Available to work evenings and weekends. This is a requirement of the role, not an occasional ask
Experience in boutique fitness, a gym or a wellness studio is an advantage but not essential

Pay: £16.00-£20.00 per hour
