GLL is looking for a Children’s Activity Instructor to work at New Addington Leisure & Community Centre in Croydon, If you have the skills and ambition to join us as a Children’s Activity Instructor, there has never been a more exciting time to join us. This is more than a Children’s Activity Instructor job, it's a career.

As a Children’s Activity Instructor, you will be responsible for engaging and inspiring children through our Holiday Clubs and Birthday Parties, ensuring their safety and enjoyment while creating a fun and engaging environment.

What you’ll do:

Comply with the commitments outlined in the ‘Customer Charter’, ensuring that standards are maintained as stipulated.
Ensure that all compliance is followed.
Ensure you follow all relevant administration procedures.
Ensure that every child is given equality of opportunity and they are all included and supported.
Oversee our Birthday parties and ensure that all activities run smoothly and efficiently.
Keep all areas and equipment checked and cleaned as per the cleaning matrix.
Deal with, log, and report all safeguarding issues to the Sports Officer.

What you need:

Ability to communicate effectively with adults and children.
You are friendly and approachable as well as being imaginative, creative and a positive role model to the children that you supervise.
Ability to confidently oversee different party activities and create a fun, welcoming and safe environment.

This is a Flexible position. Hours of work will be negotiated with you in line with the needs of the service; flexible working may be possible. Working from home is not possible in this role.
