Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Caretaker/Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and organisation within our premises. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and janitorial services, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for visitors. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of our facilities through diligent cleaning and maintenance duties, supporting a safe and professional atmosphere.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning of Hub, communal areas, washroom, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and products.
Ensure all surfaces are sanitised, floors are swept and mopped, and waste is disposed of correctly.
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and cleaning materials as needed.
Maintain cleanliness of windows and fixtures to uphold visual standards.
Conduct periodic deep-cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, window washing, and specialised sanitation procedures.
Report any maintenance issues or damages to the relevant person for prompt resolution.
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents or hazards in the workplace.
Keep storage areas organised and ensure cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order.
Open the Hub for bookings, close Hub, set up tables and chairs as required, exhibition set up and take down.

Skills

Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks thoroughly and efficiently.
Good organisational skills to manage weekly cleaning schedule effectively.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols.
Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
Reliable with a professional attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness at all times.

Pay: £13.00 per hour
