Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labourer to join our team, specialising in, construction, and general site upkeep. The ideal candidate will possess construction knowledge and experience with various tools and machinery. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse project, contributing to the upkeep and development of the construction site. The position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment such as excavators under supervision
Perform general construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and assembly
Assist with excavation work, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively

Qualifications

Previous experience in construction, highly desirable
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual labour safely
Relevant certifications or licences (e.g., CSCS card, machinery operation) are preferred but not essential
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks

Pay: £12.21-£20.74 per hour
