Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer

£54,923 per annum (including shift allowance) & benefits
42 hours per week, working 12 hour shifts, 4 on 4 off, 6:00am to 6:00pm, days & nights

So, what’s the mission?
Working as part of the team, your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating engineering downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment reactive engineering activities on site.

What are the mission critical skills?

A strong electrical working knowledge with some mechanical experience
The ideal applicant will be a qualified, time served in a similar position ideally at NVQ 3 level
Ideally apprentice trained and qualified to the 18th edition wiring regulations
PLC fault finding skills would be a distinct advantage
Working knowledge of robots and automated process plant & machinery
Experience in mechanical fitting, welding, fabrication and general machining would be an advantage
