Responsibilities

Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and safety guidelines
Oversee a designated section of the kitchen, managing ingredients, tools, and workflow efficiently
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining high quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work station in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist in training junior kitchen staff and sharing culinary techniques to foster team growth
Monitor inventory levels within your section and communicate supply needs promptly
Ensure all food preparation meets health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
Prior kitchen experience with familiarity in managing a specific station or section is preferred
Passion for creating high-quality dishes and serving guests with enthusiasm
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
