Full job description

Office Administrator (Part-Time)

Location: Near Oswestry, Shropshire
Hours: 15 hours per week (flexible)
Pay: £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)

About Us

Martin Scaffolding Services is a long-established family-run scaffolding company serving Shropshire, Mid Wales and the surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on providing a professional, reliable service and are looking for an organised and trustworthy Office Administrator to support the day-to-day running of our business.

This is a varied role and would suit someone who enjoys organisation, working independently and helping a busy business run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Answering telephone calls and responding to emails.
General office administration and filing.
Preparing and sending customer invoices.
Chasing outstanding payments.
Assisting with payroll administration.
Maintaining employee records.
Recording holidays, sickness and attendance.
Organising training records and monitoring expiry dates.
Managing company paperwork and filing systems.
Liaising with our accountants when required.
Monitoring HMRC and other important business correspondence.
Ordering office supplies and general administration duties.
Supporting the directors with the smooth day-to-day running of the business.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Organised and efficient.
Honest, reliable and trustworthy.
Friendly and professional.
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Able to work independently and manage their own workload.
Comfortable handling confidential information.
Experienced in an administrative role (construction experience is beneficial but not essential).
