Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Graduate Demolition Administrator to join our team. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates with an interest in construction management and project coordination. The successful candidate will support demolition projects through effective administration, coordination, and communication, ensuring smooth project delivery from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and organisation of demolition project documentation using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
- Coordinate schedules and liaise with contractors, clients, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Support project managers in tracking progress, updating project timelines, and managing resources efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of project communications, contracts, permits, and other relevant documentation.
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and distribute action points to relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout the demolition process.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the demolition team.
- Assist with the preparation of project reports, programmes, and meeting minutes.
- Support the management of health, safety, environmental, and quality documentation.
- Coordinate training records, certifications, and workforce documentation.
- Raise purchase orders and assist with invoice processing.
- Assist in compiling tender and pre-qualification documentation.
- Monitor project documentation to ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Support the mobilisation of new projects and general office administration.
Skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to liaise confidently with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as Microsoft Project for scheduling and planning purposes.
- Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently throughout the project lifecycle.
- Leadership potential with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and decision-making.
- IT literacy with a good grasp of digital tools used for project management and reporting.
- Valid driving licence is preferred for site visits or meetings outside the office.
