Make a Difference for Children and Young People

Are you passionate about improving outcomes for children, young people and families? Do you have experience in contract management, partnership working or commissioning? If so, we would love to hear from you.

We are seeking x3 Contracts and Partnership Officers to join our Market Engagement Service within Children's Commissioning. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and maintaining high-quality services that support children, young people and families across our communities.

About the Role

As a Contracts and Partnership Officer, you will work closely with providers, commissioners and operational services to ensure commissioned services deliver excellent outcomes and value for money.

You will:

Monitor and manage contracts for children's services.
Build and maintain positive relationships with providers and partners.
Support market engagement activities and provider development.
Analyse performance, quality and contract compliance information.
Identify and address service performance issues.
Contribute to commissioning projects and service improvements.
Ensure services remain responsive to the needs of children, young people and families.

About You

We are looking for individuals who:

Have experience in contract management, commissioning, procurement, quality assurance or partnership working.
Can build strong, productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
Possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Are confident analysing data and producing reports.
Can manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
Have a strong understanding of safeguarding principles and a commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people.
