Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects in Residential and Commercial Environments. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in electrical work to contribute to diverse and challenging assignments in a professional environment. The position is paid and suitable for those looking to develop their career within the electrical trade.

Responsibilities

Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in accordance with safety standards and regulations
Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools and power tools, ensuring timely resolution of faults
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute projects accurately
Conduct routine inspections of electrical installations to ensure compliance with safety codes
Perform upgrades or modifications to existing electrical systems as required
Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete tasks efficiently
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to minimise risks on site

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrician, with a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety standards
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools essential for electrical work
Strong electrical experience, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting skills
Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance recognised by industry standards
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Valid UK driving licence is desirable but not essential
