Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager for our hotel to support the smooth operation of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in hospitality, and the ability to oversee daily hotel activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences while managing a dedicated team.

Duties

Assist the Hotel Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of guest service and satisfaction.
Supervise and support front-of-house and back-of-house staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Coordinate reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently whilst maintaining accurate records.
Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and tact.
Manage human resources functions including staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and hotel policies at all times.
Collaborate with other departments such as housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage to ensure seamless service delivery.
Assist in organising promotional events or special functions hosted at the hotel.
Maintain a thorough understanding of local attractions and services to enhance guest experience.

Skills

Proven supervising experience within the hospitality industry or similar service environment.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to communicate effectively with diverse guests.
Knowledge of human resources practices including recruitment, training, and staff management.
Experience in hotel operations or hospitality management is preferred.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English; additional languages are advantageous. This position provides an engaging environment for those passionate about hospitality and dedicated to delivering outstanding guest experiences through effective management and leadership.

Pay: £24,420.00-£32,000.00 per year
