Sales & Customer Support Administrator

Salary: £27,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Belfast – Office based

John J Doyle Limited is a third-generation, family-run business, established in 1928. With almost 100 years of experience, we have built a strong reputation for quality, service and long-standing relationships with our customers and suppliers.

We are now looking for an enthusiastic, organised and customer-focused Sales & Customer Support Administrator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a varied and important role within our sales and administration team, working closely with customers, sales representatives, stock control and warehouse personnel to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Processing customer sales orders accurately and efficiently.
Raising sales invoices and ensuring all relevant information is correct.
Providing a high level of customer service to customers both over the telephone and online.
Handling customer enquiries and resolving queries promptly and professionally.
Liaising closely with sales representatives, stock control and warehouse teams to ensure orders are processed and delivered efficiently.
Updating and maintaining the company CRM system.
Tracking and recording sales representative activity.
Producing monthly prospect lists and obtaining appropriate marketing permissions.
Liaising with the Marketing team regarding prospects and customer information.
Developing a good working knowledge of the company's products, services and processes.
Preparing weekly and monthly sales and target reports.
Carrying out general administrative duties, including filing, copying and maintaining accurate records.
Supporting the wider team with additional administrative duties as required.

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and customer-focused, with the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A professional and friendly telephone manner.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
A proactive approach to problem solving.
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong IT skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience using Sage 200 would be advantageous, although full training will be provided where required.
The ability to build and maintain positive, long-term relationships with customers and colleagues.
