Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Therapist/ Hygienist to join our professional dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining patients’ oral health through preventive care and education. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive team environment, utilising advanced dental technologies and techniques. The ideal applicant will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for patient care.

Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing of patients’ teeth
Provide oral health education and personalised advice to patients on maintaining optimal dental hygiene
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
Monitor patient comfort throughout procedures and address any concerns promptly
Support the practice with administrative tasks related to patient scheduling and record management

Experience

Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist/Therapy or similar role within a clinical setting
Knowledge of anatomy relevant to oral health and dental procedures
Strong understanding of infection control protocols and sterilisation procedures
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple patients efficiently
Certification or registration with the appropriate dental regulatory body is essential

Pay: £34.00-£40.00 per hour
