We have a fantastic opportunity for a Highways Street Lighting Operative to work on our Street Lighting project in Kingston and Sutton. You will be responsible for providing support for electrical installations, repairs, planned maintenance and new installations.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting with the installation of signs / columns, bollards and associated equipment
- 24 hour Emergency Response / Out of Hours Standby
- Assisting with the installation of any new build works
- Carry out works as instructed by the Site Supervisor in a safe manner, within the scope if relevant duties
- Electrical inspection and testing including periodic testing
- Fault diagnosis and repair
- Ensure vehicles are maintained to a high standard, with vehicle defect sheet completed correctly
Essential:
- Enjoys working in an outdoor environment all year-round
- Comfortable working from height
- Reasonable commute to SW19 depot
Desirable:
- Highways maintenance experience
- Preferable registration to Highways Electrical Level 3 NVQ
- SWQR Qualification
- Safe Isolation / G39
- Street Lighting Installations experience
- MEWP Operator
- ECS H&S Test
- First Aid
