Full job description

Marshall Clark LLP are a firm of Chartered Surveyors and Commercial Property Consultants. We are based in Worthing and have a variety of commercial property clients located primarily across the South of England. We are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to support our company.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing client accounts, supporting financial processes, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong interest in accounting to develop their skills within a professional environment

The ideal candidate will have

Experience in property accounts.
Have worked in an accounts, bookkeeping, or finance-related role
Good working knowledge of purchase ledgers, general accounting processes.
Familiarity with service charge accounts, VAT reporting, and reconciliation processes
Experience preparing invoices, statements, and basic financial reports
Confidence in handling credit control and monitoring outstanding balances
Experience using property management software
Understanding of commercial rent demands and service charge budgeting
Reliable, cooperative, and able to work effectively as part of a small team

This is a full-time office based position, the successful candidate will be working from our Worthing Office.

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
