We have an exciting opportunity for a Accounts Semi-Senior who will become a key part of our team and grow with us. The role is exciting and varied, keeping you interested and engaged.

Role Description

Semi Senior Accountant required to join our growing team, dealing with unique and high-profile client portfolio, this role requires complete confidentiality at all times.

The candidate must have experience in preparing year end accounts for Limited companies and Sole Traders, have basic knowledge of VAT and Tax returns, and possess strong communication skills to effectively engage and support clients.

As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and complete accounting records, preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, and providing support to clients with accounting, tax, and regulatory compliance issues, among other duties.

Essential Qualifications/Skills

Strong Microsoft office skills
Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
Minimum 2 years’ experience within a similar role
Experience within a similar role in an accountancy firm
Ability to prepare year end accounts
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Organisational and time-management skills with an ability to work independently and within a team

Desirable Qualifications/Skills

Knowledge of CCH
Sound knowledge of VAT and general tax areas
Desire to mentor and assist junior staff

Wage

This will be based on experience within the industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year
