Full job description

The successful applicant will work full time as part of a busy skilled Reception/admin team between two local surgery locations. Desired hours: within core hours of 8.00 am -1.00 pm and 2.00 pm - 6.30 pm. Providing a wide range of medical reception and clerical support to the clinicians and management. Offering continuous GP administration support, first point of contact to patients, call handling, care navigation, appointment making, prescriptions duties and more. Applicants must be enthusiastic, confident and adaptable individuals with good written and verbal communication skills. Excellent telephone manner, accurate keyboard skills essential and typing skills desirable. Good health and self motivation is paramount as is the need for maturity, intelligence, a smart appearance and friendly manner. Full training will be given to the successful applicant.
