Nursery – Bright Horizons Reigate Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary – £26,662 - £27,086 per annum PRO RATA (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Location – Reigate, Surrey

We’re looking for an Early Years Assistant to join our Reigate nursery working 12-15 hours per week.

Located on the A217, close to local shops and a short walk away from Reigate Town Centre. We have a stable and experienced staff team who provide a welcoming atmosphere and environment for new staff, children, and their families. We focus on identifying staff strengths and enabling individuals to explore their areas of strength within their work. We have purpose-built facilities including individual gardens for each age group and a large car park.

The Role

As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.

What we’re looking for

Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents
Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
