We are specialists in high quality large format printing, POS solutions and displays. Using the very latest high quality digital printers with direct to media capabilities, digital cutters and in-house acrylic fabrication means we can cover a broad range of requirements. From both large and small PoS signage, vinyl’s, banners, posters, hoardings, pop-up units, light boxes, laminates, window and wall graphics and exhibition stands.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to fill a key and varied role in our small and friendly production team, as a Print Finisher/ Production Assistant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the finishing, assembly, and quality control of large format printed materials. This role requires a keen eye for detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced production environment. Previous warehouse experience and familiarity with various tools and fabrication techniques are essential to ensure smooth operations and high-quality output.

Job Description:

We are seeking an organised and proactive Large Format Print Finisher/ Production Assistant to join our team. You’ll be working on our print production efforts, delivering to our customers our core values of quality, service and speed.

With same-day turnaround available for many of our customers, the nature of our work is very fast-paced. We’ll provide full training on our print and finishing equipment, but previous experience in large format print production is essential. You’ll have a “can-do” attitude and a keen eye for detail to ensure every product is produced to our highest standards, even when working to tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Print finishing: finish large format prints by trimming, mounting, laminating, and applying protective coatings as required
Large format printing
Operating large-format equipment, specifically Zund cutting machine
Conduct quality checks to ensure colour accuracy, print integrity, and overall finish standards are met
Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance or repairs
Assist with fabricating custom displays or signage using fabrication techniques and assembly skills
Organise and maintain a tidy workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly after use

Essential Knowledge:

Large format print production experience
Experience of Zund cutting machine operation
Good standard of numeracy and literacy, including written and spoken English.

Desirable:

Manufacturing experience – plastics/ metal/ woodwork
CNC experience (Ellitron)
Reading and interpretation of technical drawings
Strong problem-solving skills
Use of machinery including routers, drills, handtools

You must be able to prioritise, multi-task and manage your time effectively.
You have an aptitude for hands-on work with a “can-do” attitude.
