Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Moulding & CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating moulding and CNC machining equipment to produce high-quality plastic components. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals to progress. with a strong mechanical background and experience in fabrication, CAD, and materials handling. The position is paid and suitable for those looking to develop their skills within a dynamic production environment.

Duties

Operate CNC machines and moulding equipment with precision,
Set up, and adjust moulding and CNC machinery
Perform inspections, and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Handle materials safely, including loading raw materials into machines and managing finished products.
Use hand tools and welding equipment for assembly, repairs, or modifications as required.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in manufacturing.
Mechanical mindset knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools,
Familiarity with tooling setup,
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

South Church, Bishop Auckland, DL146XB.

Working hours 7:30 till 16:30 Mon till Thurs, 7:30 till 13:30 Friday. ( no shift work)

Pay: From £13.21 per hour
