Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff/Waitress to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. This role involves serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and strong organisational skills are essential. The position offers opportunities for career development within the hospitality sector.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation
Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times
Handle cash and card transactions efficiently using the POS system
Maintain knowledge of menu items, including daily specials and drink options
Provide excellent customer service by attending to guest needs and resolving any issues promptly
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations diligently to uphold health standards
Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed during busy periods
Support team members to ensure smooth operation during shifts

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous but not essential; a friendly personality and eagerness to learn are key
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Strong serving skills with an understanding of customer service excellence
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods
Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining professionalism
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
A positive attitude, good communication skills, and a team-oriented approach
