Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Architect to join our dynamic design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive architectural concepts, producing detailed drawings, and managing projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, ranging from residential to commercial developments, in a collaborative environment that values creativity and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

Develop and present architectural designs using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp.
Create detailed construction drawings and documentation in compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
Utilise modelling tools including D5 and 3ds Max for complex visualisations and parametric design.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants through negotiation to ensure project requirements are met effectively.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources using project management tools to ensure timely delivery.
Conduct site visits to oversee construction progress and ensure adherence to design intent.
Prepare presentations using Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch for client meetings and stakeholder engagement.
Coordinate with joinery specialists and other trades to integrate specialised elements into architectural plans.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, building codes, and sustainable design practices.

Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD,D5,SketchUp, and CAD software.
Strong knowledge of construction processes and materials.
Experience in project management within architectural or construction environments.
Excellent negotiation skills for liaising with clients and contractors.
Skilled in modelling software such as 3ds Max (formerly 3ds <PERSON>) for advanced visualisations.
Ability to produce high-quality presentations using Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch.
Familiarity with joinery techniques and integration into architectural designs.
Competence in using Revit for Building Information Modelling (BIM).
