The job in a nutshell:
To operate within the Warehouse Operations as an order picker/packer for the fulfilment part of the warehouse operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders within the Fulfilment department, ensuring goods are securely packaged using the appropriate materials for safe delivery (B2C).
- Prepare all website orders for dispatch, including gift-wrapping products when required.
- Process shipments through relevant courier and transport portals, ensuring orders are ready for daily collection.
- Accurately label all parcels and place them in the designated dispatch area in line with carrier-specific requirements.
- Identify and promptly report any order discrepancies, stock issues, or operational concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
- Assist with receiving deliveries, booking stock into the system, and putting stock away in the correct warehouse locations.
- Support the resolution of customer delivery issues and investigate fulfilment-related queries when required.
- Assist the Customer Service team by processing returned products efficiently and accurately upon receipt.
- Participate in stock checks, cycle counts, and inventory-related activities to maintain stock accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, safe, organised, and efficient warehouse and fulfilment environment at all times.
- Ensure packing stations and fulfilment areas remain fully stocked with the consumables required for daily operations.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively; a forklift licence is desirable, although training will be provided where necessary.
- Provide support across other areas of the business as required to meet operational demands.
- Maintain confidentiality in relation to company, customer, and supplier information at all times.
- Comply with all company Health & Safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support the company's environmental and sustainability objectives by working responsibly and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by management to support the effective operation of the business.

Working hours: 40hrs a week Monday to Friday
